Company Ltd. WORKS DAGENHAM DOCK, ESSEX. YOUR REF OUR REF CGFP/GL.{G. Linnett} 6th March, 1934. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} West Esq., Messrs. Rolls.Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. West, I have written to Mr. Elliott today telling him that when we got his battery back here we found that the container was not one of ours after all, but a G.E.C. "Richardson" one. It was rather a stupid mistake of mine not to notice it at the time, but I had forgotten that at one time we were using their containers, and as they are almost identical to ours, and in fact can only be identified by different markings on the bottom, I did not realise it. I thought you would be interested to know this, as I do not want you to think that Dagenite generally gives this kind of trouble! With kind regards, Yours truly, C. Pritchett | ||
