To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C.K. c. to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} X.1588 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG9.2.20 HL Crane's Fine Motor Oils. With reference to attached, it appears from this letter that the oils they are offering are pure mineral oils. It has been decided that we do not agree to the use of pure mineral oils on either cars or aero engines, therefore, we think it is a waste of time for them to send any of this oil for us to test.
