HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X.3885. Bonnet & Dash 1" higher than Sltd RECEIVED X. 3440 In discussing the question of a possible alteration in design by raising the dash a further 1" but keeping the radiator in its present position, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} thinks that it would be far better to have an actual sample built up so that it could be submitted to Mr Royce and Sales, particularly as Sales are anxious to make a change in the direction indicated. Will you therefore push through as quickly as possible a new bonnet and dash to the above characteristics, that is, the present height of radiator from 1001 onwards, with a dashboard 1" higher than that used from 1001 onwards.
