R.R. 493A (40 H) (SL 42 12-7-23). J.H., D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. ORIGINAL Expl. No. 9550 / 634 H-N REF: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}:/T/C10.3.24. To R; from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}; c; to CJ. NG. c; to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c; to HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} S E C R E T. OVERRUN VIBRATION ON E.A.C. We find that the Hawk connecting rods are 11.5" long and the bearing is the same diameter as the E.A.C. We are therefore arranging to fit a set of Hawk rods on to the EAC. engine without delay. With the 11½" rod we shall have approximately the same connecting/crank ratio as the 40/50 HP. and the Hispano (4.26). Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}; | ||
