Dear Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer},

I have just returned from my holiday and find your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RmI2/KW.27.8.34.

I am glad to hear that, by the time of the Show, when we will have the pleasure of seeing you again, you expect to have found a definite cure for wing and lamp movement.

I was extremely pleased as well as interested to read of the success of E.R. Hall in the Ulster T.T. race. I understand his performance was excellent and speaks very highly for your "mise au point".

In this respect, I should be very pleased to receive any information you might feel enclined to pass on to me concerning this car. Various points interest me very much, such as:

a) How did the brakes stand up and what ferodo were they lined with?
b) What was the maximum b.h.p. and compression?
c) How much oil was there in the sump? Surely more than I 1/2 gallon.
d) Were additional Hartfords fitted?
e) What was the back axle gear ratio?
f) Finally, what was the maximum speed of this car?

If this information is not available, I will quite understand and ask you kindly to excuse my curiosity.

Trusting you are in the pink of health and with kind regards to Mrs. Robotham,

Yours sincerely,
Hauterlieaths
