Dear Sirs,
Radiator Thermostats.
We thank you for your enquiry of the 27th instant.
We fear that we could not give serious consideration to the manufacture of a vapour tension thermostat on the lines of the blue print submitted. We believe that it would be possible to design a very much more robust instrument for this purpose on the differential expansion principle. If you would like us to look more closely into this we should be obliged if you will send us drawings showing what room is available in the position in which you would wish such a thermostat to be fixed. We would, of course, prefer a considerable length, such a length as corresponds to the full width of the radiator, if possible.
Yours faithfully,
For THE CAMBRIDGE AND PAUL INSTRUMENT CO. LTD.

Director & Works Manager.
