-3- The ignition problem on the 20 HP. R.R. chassis was that of arranging a stand-by ignition mainly in case of unavoidable failure of battery which might occur in certain circumstances of use. Coil and contact breaker failure, though possible, is unlikely, and distributor failure still more so. The suggestion of Mr. Myers, involving as it does the use of a six pole two way high tension changeover, would be an unwarrantable complication, and one which it would seem unreasonable to adopt in favour of a complete system of dual ignition. | ||
