(2) Oscilloscope should shew if we bounce more than Delco or Bosch. Tungsten might like a little scrub on making as would appear to be the case with Delco. It would rub the contact (not good for platinum) and damp the rebound. Off-set would appear to meet the cam during break and follow it during make. What percentage would this be? A diagram of motion like a valve is necessary. Disc rotor on distributor seems quite a good and easy improvement but should be tested for value, but can do no harm. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
