This may cause the vibration. All the other dimensions are correct to the drawing. We find that Van Voorens have only cleared one cross-member off the cruciform, the other is still on, so we shall get them to have a go at this too.

We are leaving the sideshake and central radiator mounting job until the steering work so that the radiator need not come out twice. Paulin tells us that we should be able to do this with the engine in position according to his designs.

We definitely went x 10/41 axle gears with the 7.00" tyres; this will give normal max. revs. of approximately 3950 at 100 m.p.h. on overdrive, according to our timed speeds and rev. counter.
