We are preparing 27-EX. car so that it can go out to you at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.

This car has not been run any distance. It is a typically bad car for vibrations and booms so will therefore be useful to demonstrate any improvements.

The new features we are fitting to this car are - modified crankshaft with stiffened rear flange. Stiffened flywheel. Four balance weights. Twin carburetter. We also very badly want to get on to this car the new gear-box with the Epicyclic third speed. We think there is every chance of fitting this, and the car being ready by the end of the month.

The gearbox and controls will be the last thing to be completed but we think it is worth while holding the car for this important feature. There will, of course, be a number of other important modifications such as ribbed brake drums, central vent to the petrol tank, modified shock absorbers, etc.

The question of who is to come with the car can be decided nearer the time when it will be ready.
