1033 Exptl. Dept., HB{C. E. Harcombe}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}6/JH. 27th. April, 1936. The Zenith Carburetter Co.Ltd., Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, Middlesex. For the attention of Mr. Fisher. Dear Sirs, Will you please forward as soon as possible, two accelerator pumps for E.E.3 carburetters as used on Phantom III. The pumps to be complete, that is with spindle, leather washer and retaining springs for the latter. What has happened is that in one case the pump washer got curled over during assembly and cannot be renewed without renewing the complete pump plunger. We should like to see you as soon as convenient, with regard to full throttle mixture weakness at all speeds, which we are experiencing on several of the E.E.3 carburetters. This is not due to lack of petrol in the floatchamber and up to the present, we have not found the reason for this weakness. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
