In reply to your memo ref. G/WFH/CA.24/WP.23.1.39,
concerning the supply of 144 piston rings instead of 72 as
ordered from Wellworthy, as we have already stated we require
only 72 rings, and the remainder are therefore surplus. These
are therefore available for return to Wellworthy, and in any
case only 72 rings should be paid for.
