X.3499 - RE RADIATOR SHUTTERS.

I agree, and am sure it would be quite a good thing if we could buy or make a set of radiator shutters which we could make standard for our cars.

Every effort should be made to have these controlled by thermostat, so as to avoid the necessity of having a thermometer as well as the present thermostat. You can never rely upon hand control being operated satisfactorily always.

The work has been done here for the new model, and the scheme might be adopted for the 40/50 H.P. using the shutters at the front, drawings for which were also made here long ago.
