We consider that both our rig and Mr. Brock's rig should be modified in respect to the method of mounting the starter motor on the rig. We do not consider that the strap method is at all satisfactory. Will you please make arrangements to have both our rig and Mr. Brock's modified by making arrangements for the motor to be bolted to the rig mounting similar to the mounting on the engine and made adjustable on the base-plate so that the motor can be adjusted in relation to the flywheel as required. A suitable way of doing this would be to obtain two scrap Ph.III crankcases and cut off the portion required where the starter motor fits and making an adaptor to bolt it to the base-plate.
