'SS{S. Smith}' BRAKE LINING.

As you know, we have been in trouble with squeaking brakes on these cars. We have had to cancel all our Tenoid brake lining material.
We have asked you to obtain a supply of standard Ferodo bonded asbestos for the SS.{S. Smith} We now find however that we obtain better results from Ferobestos.
While we cannot recommend this material until we have done 10,000 miles on it in France, we would like you to keep your stock of brake lining material as low as you can, and preferably to order half the quantity in Ferobestos.
