We wish to try a lower geared steering on two Sales cars and on our own car 18-G-IV. The attached Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1625 shows the alterations involved. The pendulum lever is shortened from 8.250" to 7.600" and the travel of the side steering tube springs is reduced to 0.250 with springs of slightly higher rating but with the same set up load.
