Description of Parts.
40/50 and GOSHAWK.
ROAD SPRINGS MADE BY FIRTHS IN PLACE OF WOODHEADS.
Origin.
To ensure constant supply of springs.
Experimental Test Report.
Experiments on the bumping rig with 20 HP. proved that the average life of the latest springs supplied by Firths was equal to Woodheads.
We also recommend changing to Firths springs on the 40/50 HP.
Road Test Report.
Set of Firths springs run 6800 miles on 7-G-11. No failures.
No road tests on 40/50.
First set just fitted to a car.

A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock. Alteration effective on future Chassis.
