| -2- Jnr. {Charles L. Jenner} 3/JH.20.5.40. (3) PD.288 244° Exhaust Cam. Inlet as No.2. Inlet cam form EB.4331. .437 LIFT Exhaust cam form EB.4351. .375 LIFT [Diagram 1 showing cam timing with labels: EX 244°, INLET 222°, and angles 64°, 10°, 76°, 54°] (4) PD.289 Inlet cam for .450 Valve Lift. Exhaust as 3. Inlet cam form EB.4370. Exhaust cam form EB.4351. .375 LIFT. [Diagram 2 showing cam timing with labels: EX 244°, INLET 242°, and angles 10°, 10°, 52°, 54°] These are my note book figures. I think they are the duration over the high acceleration and not with valve clearance. You can check this statement by referring to PD.223, 281, 280 and 289 which are at Derby. In regard to the sparking plug position, this was tried in two different positions on the single cylinder unit. Cont'd | ||
