Further Modifications.

A further test with the following modifications to the silencer shown on the attached print gave improved results.

The modifications are :-

(1) The 11" section 'blanked out' is increased to 16.5" (forward of this the silencer remains the same.)

(2) The sections to the rear of the 16.5" section are altered to 10" - Baffle, 3.25" - Baffle, 4.5" - Baffle, (i.e. one less baffle is used.

(3) A P.II type diam swan neck is used with a P.II fish tail.
