S/W. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} RECEIVED FEB 17 1933 84 S-S3. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/D15.2.33 Re: The Bentley I understand this went over there last Friday, but so far I have not seen any reports; possibly it is a little too early to expect them to be coming through. As mentioned to you in a recent memo., I should like Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} to take special interest in the testing of this car and should be glad if you would indicate at about what stage you think it would be useful for him to go over to France in order to participate in the tests. I do not want to interfere with your normal pro-gramme, but at the same time, as we shall want to make as much use of him as possible when the time comes to sell the cars, I am anxious that he should have a fair chance of expressing his views about it in the earlier stages. As yet, of course, he has only had one comparatively short run on the car. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
