Standardisation Sheets have already been circulated for the following parts which were on 5-B-IV. This test, however, is the first time they have been in France, and therefore has cleared them for production. (1) Isolated Change Speed mechanism. (2) Sheet metal floorboards. (3) Aerolite pistons in RR.53. (4) Cantilever Pedals. (5) Water Excluders. (6) Geared starter motor. (7) Leather oil seal on rear axle half shafts. Standardisation Sheets have been started for the following parts :- (1) 10/43 axle gears. (2) Magnesium dashboard and clutch pit. (3) Magnesium gearbox. (4) Stellited exhaust valves. (5) Textolite and ground steel gears. (6) Large helical gear oil pump. (7) Lightened air silencer and intake bend in magnesium. (8) Improved petrol pumps. (9) Simplified petrol system. | ||
