We send you herewith a sample of the Phantom III thermometer and oil pressure gauge with the modified dial for which we have issued a standardisation sheet - this is to prevent owners being concerned about water temperature until water loss is actually occurring. Will you please return this instrument as soon as you have inspected it and let us know whether you approve if same - we have already submitted a dial of this type to Sales but the new dial has been modified to have a clearer red line and no distinctive marking whatever at 100°C in response to their request.
