REMOTE CONTROL FOR PETROL TANK RESERVE COMPARTMENT, OPERATED FROM THE DASH. Origin. To overcome the difficulty of operating the reserve tap on cars where the rear petrol tank is covered by the bodywork or by cowling. Experimental Test Report. Road Test Report. Has not been tested on Expl. cars but has been in use for some time on a special customer's car and is fitted to all Continental P.II. cars. There are no new untried parts in the scheme.
