x8005 Expl: Dept: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}4/LG. 3rd. Oct. 1928. Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, For the attention of W. Bond Esq. With reference to your letter of the 29th.ult. Would you please let us have some rubber blocks with a slightly harder mix than our present standard and a free length of 1.125". We suggest that if you make these blocks to give the same load at .125" deflection as our present standard blocks give at .150" deflection, that would be the most satisfactory increase in hardness. If you will let us have some of these blocks we will test them out, and should have two improvements to km prevent permanent set. Yours faithfully, | ||
