You will therefore see that we do not get results quickly because we are making good motor cars, and we expect your results are due to the same cause.

We find that if we run at 150 R.P.M. of the drums which is equivalent to 21 m.p.h. with 2" cams, we get a very violent movement of the whole chassis, but this is such an abnormal state of affairs that we have not used it for endurance running but only for the observation of fender shake etc.

Can you give me any information as to whether an aluminium drum with cast iron lining is being used on any cars in the States?
