(5) INLET CAM LeC-2558 HEAVY ACCELERATIONS 16 VIBRATIONS PER REV. 92° 23 1 268° 67 3 It appears evident that resonance might occur with cam LeC. 2558. when the vibrations per rev. were exactly 4 or multiples of 4. 10,000 ÷ 4 = 2500 RPM. of camshaft. " ÷ 8 = 1250 " " * ÷ 12 = 833 " " ÷ 16 = 625 " " * ÷ 20 = 500 " Actually in practice we observe periodic effects at 16, that is our 1250 speed on SS.{S. Smith} and approximately 8 vibrations per rev. The exhaust cam LeC. 2559. gives a different charac-teristic. 12 VIBRATIONS PER REV. EXHAUST CAM LeC-2559 100° 5 260° 13 | ||
