To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X8800 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG19.7.26. LAMPS ON 10->EX CAR. With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M17.7.26. Our experience of the lamps fitted to 10->EX car is that they are insufficiently powerful to give adequate illumination when this car is being driven at high speeds at night. This is especially noticeable on modern tarmac roads in wet weather. We should like to know whether you have details of any lamp you would like us to fit in place of the standard Lucas. if not, we will endeavour to see if we can procure something rather more suitable for the car.
