Description of Parts. CONTROLLABLE SHOCK DAMPERS - GROOVES IN PISTONS & INCREASED CLEARANCE FOR THE VALVE DAMPING DISC.
Origin. More efficient damping to overcome pitching. This improves the riding in the back of the car.
Report of Experimental Test. Grooves in the pistons have been on production on 25 HP. and Bentley chassis since the commencement of the J-III type damper.
The increased clearance for the valve damping disc has run 10,000 miles on both 22-EX and 28-EX. It is fitted to all Experimental Chassis with controllable dampers, and also to 104-MY.
