Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 27th instant, we regret that we cannot trace your letter of the 19th instant, and would like to receive a copy. We presume that the faulty body is one of the original six which you sent us.

We had already noted, on unpacking, that the flange on one body, and also the bell mounted intake on another of the carburetters were cracked.

We still cannot account for the Arens type controls, which arrived separately from the carburetter body mentioned.
