re CYLINDER BORE WEAR ON
TRUCKS AND LORRIES.

Laystalls have supplied the following information.

The cost of re-boring 2 to 2 1/2 ton mass-produced trucks varies between 6/7£ net Trade. This price includes new pistons.

In the case of the Leyland Cub the price is £8.10. 0d.

On long haulage runs re-boring becomes necessary between 40,000/50,000 miles on the 2 to 2 1/2 ton trucks. In the case of 3 to 5 ton lorries 60,000 miles is an average figure.
