25/30 H.P. TRIALS CAR - GWN.8.

Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} rang me yesterday with reference to Trials car - GWN-8 - and asked me to pass an opinion on the tyre noise, and something which he called an exhaust vibration'. He also said that the brakes were ineffective. We recommend that you carry out the following work on the car. It might be worth changing over the front and rear tyres before fitting a new set:-

(1) Modifications to improve slow running.
(2) Noisy oil pump.
(3) Noisy tyres - worn heel and toe - should have new set fitted.
(4) Investigate vibration under car @ 15 MPH.
(5) Timing gear rattle audible in driving seat with windows open @ 20 MPH.
(6) Brakes useless - servo doing nothing.
