3854. To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to By.{R.W. Replying to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}1/T31.1.33. We are satisfied that Woodhead springs are likely to give equal results on the road to Firth's. In judging bumper tests the results are difficult to compare unless all conditions are known. We have all these conditions but they cannot be judged merely on an hours run. Peregrine car, which is in France at the present time, is fitted with Woodhead springs which we think have every chance of completing the tests successfully. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
