-2- Contd WCFS/TES.1.36 This is entirely different to making the Carburetters in America, we can put up with getting some castings if obliged to easier than putting American Carburetters on our cars. Then again, we may save time by making this Carburetter in England. You point out in your note that the final design of Carburetter is not yet completed for Phantom III. Therefore it will be difficult to transmit our requirements to America and would be better faced by ourselves, and therefore I believe it to be fatal to put something American on our cars. Now what do I propose. I am prepared to meet Mr. Fisher of the Zenith Company and any of their chiefs in order that we shall get down to the problems. Between the two Companies we should be able to make the carburetter in time. Please proceed on the above lines, but keep me fully advised of the situation.
