RE MAGNETO ON "GOSHAWK II" ENGINE.

In connection with the modifications to the "Goshawk" engine to enable a magneto to be fitted, it is necessary to alter the position of the starter motor from above the crankshaft centre to below the crankshaft centre on the near side of the engine.

We attach herewith drawing No.Lec.1475 shewing the motor thus carried.

Would you kindly set this alteration in motion.

We shall in due course send further schemes shewing the magneto being driven from the tail end of the dynamo shaft.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
