Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

As prominent manufacturers of Motor Cars, you will doubtless be interested to learn that we have now placed on the British market, a stroboscopic apparatus to permit of any type of motor running at high speed, being exhaustively examined under conditions of apparent immobility or slow motion.

The only essential condition of the apparatus is that electric current either 110 or 220 volts alternating be available, the apparatus being ready for work immediately on plugging in to such electric supply.

Please, therefore, ask us for further information respecting this instrument termed Stroborama type A, briefly illustrated and described in the enclosed leaflet, and used by such eminent firms as Citroen, Lorraine-Dietrich, Chenard-Walcker, Michelin Tyre Co., R.B. Magneto Co., the Hobson Co. Brussels, etc.

In particular we recommend you strongly to apply for copy of our leaflet "Torsional Crankshaft Vibration as seen through the Stroborama".

This Stroborama is not a laboratory instrument, but can be employed in full daylight or artificial light, its illuminating capacity being of the order of 1000 c.p. and represents the culminating point of development of the stroboscopic theory as applied to the Automobile Industry.

You will oblige by acknowledging receipt of this letter; meanwhile, awaiting your news, we are,

Yours faithfully,

FOR AND ON BEHALF OF
VLIES AND BENSON LTD.,
Frank Ware
DIRECTOR.

P.S. If your electric current is D.C., or A.C. of voltage other than 110 or 220, we can supply the requisite converter.
