With reference to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}6/H.7.9.38., although we agree that if the rear of the car is raised 1" it would seem natural that the front should be raised the same amount, in practice we do not agree that this is necessary. We have spent some time with Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} altering the attitude of the car, and those present agreed that the new attitude is better than the previous one: the car is no longer depressed at the back in an aeroplane "take off" position. It resembles closely the Jaguar which, we understand, is acclaimed as a very handsome car. We think that before any action is taken to raise the front end that those people interested in appearance, including hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} on his return, should see the car and judge for themselves. Bm/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
