We send herewith N.sch.2600 shewing the new
design of damped pendulum lever with leaf springs;
The leaf springs should be arranged with the least
amount of set-up load possible, so as to make the movement of
the lever in the central position as free as possible.
It is intended to remove a good deal of the
friction off the front axle when this scheme is tried, and we
shall send you instructions in due course.
