X6032 CX.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} From HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.8/MA. 6. 4. 32. LUCAS ELECTRIC HORNS Re. CX{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}8/KW. 5. 4. 32. We are pleased to note that you like our new Lucas horn. This horn has been produced as a result of the Lucas Co., collaborating with the Bosch Co., and is largely due, we have reason to believe, to our agitation for a real first class H.F. horn suitable for large high speed cars. The type of the horn is HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}722. We have had two of these from Lucas's fitted to our cars and we have a third coming along for 19-EX. Should the next 10,000 mile test prove successful with this horn we propose to standard-ize same in place of the motor Klaxon or as an auxiliary to it. The reason Messrs. Lucas are slow in getting these horns out at the moment is due to the fact that they are as yet being hand made and have not been tooled. We had fitted to one of our Expl. cars one of the first to be produced which explains why we are ahead of Lucas in the matter. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
