Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham,
c/o Rolls Royce of America, Inc.,
32 East 57th St.{Capt. P. R. Strong},
New York City.

Dear Mr. Robotham:

Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to look over your report on exhaust valves. This report is very interesting and appears to parallel our work here very closely.

We have been able to make valves function in the Conqueror engine at .43 horse power per cubic inch thru the regular 150 hour type test, the details of which you know.

We expect in the near future to make a resume of the work we have done here and, unless there is some objection from the U. S. Air Corps, I will see that you get a copy of this resume; if it is not possible to send the report I will try to give you what information I can by letter.

If it is possible for you to do so, I would like to have you spend an evening with me at my home before you return. Perhaps you could get in touch with me after you get back from Detroit. In any event, will you let me know the name of the boat on which you are sailing and the time so that if I am in town I can run over to wish you Bon Voyage.

Very truly yours,

WRIGHT AERONAUTICAL CORPORATION
