Messrs. Gallay Ltd.,

Willesden,
LONDON. N.W.10.

For the attention of Mr. L.T. Delaney.

Dear Sirs,

We have recently received a four row tube radiator matrix from yourselves. We understood that the question of the trial of a deeper block was to be deferred until we had tested the 60 m.m. block which you have already supplied to us (your letter of July 31st.).

In any case, we could not fit this four row matrix to our radiator owing to lack of space, since the overall width of calorstat plates, sideplates, etc. is approx. 4", instead of 84 m.m. or 3.3" and we have very little cl earance on either side of our core.

It will probably be some time before we can test the 60 m.m. core which we have on a car and in view of the report attached to our letter of the 7th instant, we are not optimistic about obtaining any advantage from it.

We are therefore returning the deeper core to you.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
