Dear Hickling,

We want for purely experimental purposes two LJ.45 bearings having an end float of .050. The life of the bearings is immaterial as they are only required for a short test to represent extreme conditions. Can you, therefore, let us have a couple in the near future.

I was sorry I was unable to try your motor car when you were over here the other day, but if you will let me know next time you are coming over I will try and do some-thing about it.
