PHANTOM 11. EXHAUST HEATED THROTTLE. x7910

I am very pleased to hear that the simple and original scheme is so satisfactory.

I agree that it will be advisable to have a cast iron bend if the temperature gets anywhere near 400°C.

I am not satisfied that we have a sufficiently simple pipe scheme for production.

If we go to the main silencer we do not need an auxiliary box.

If we have an auxiliary box we need not go to the rear silencer.

The small silencer might be simpler andequally effective, and better for making.

If we have to go to the rear of the main silencer we might put the small pipe inside the main silencer.

I am not in favour of covering up any pipes or silencers, as soon as we can avoid it. It is much more efficient and better to cool the exhaust gases.

The little silencer might be an aluminium cast box; it would not be hot so far back.

I am in favour of separate exhaust - i.e. not going back to the main silencer.

The lead away pipes must be as simple as ever possible.
