Gear Lever Rattles on Bentley and 20/25 HP. Cars. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}22/E.17.7.35. The scheme for the isolated change speed lever which has been standardised on the Bentley has always been applicable to existing cars. The scheme for the 20/25 as originally drawn did require a new gearbox, but E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} tells me that he has now altered this so that as standardised it too will be applicable retrospectively.
