PHANTOM II SUSPENSION

With reference to the attached tests. The amount the rebound can be restrained must depend largely on the violence with which the axle is brought to rest.
Given a progressive control there might be little disadvantage in making the bump and rebound of similar dimensions. This will certainly have no effect on normal riding conditions when the axle movement is considerably less than 2" either side of the normal position (see curve attached to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG9.10.28).
