TUBULAR RIVETING.
----------------

We have given to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} a set of 20/25 HP. Brake Straps and one 20/25 HP. Clutch Back Plate G.54539 and Pressure Ring G.54133 with the ferodo riveted on with tubular rivets by the Bifurcated and Tubular Rivet Co.

This system of riveting is much cheaper proposition than our present system, and 'Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}' has agreed to a set of parts being put through a standardisation test.

We should be glad of a report on these parts as soon as possible in order to bring this economy into production.

We are putting in hand a set of 40/50 HP. Brake Straps and Clutch Plates to be treated similar which we will send along to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} when available.

Sft.{Mr Swift}
