| APPENDIX OF SCHEMES. Re Short Wheelbase Bentley. Specification of Chassis required for 11-B-5. In order that you can proceed with the body for 11.B.5. we send you herewith a specification of Chassis particulars necessary to clear the coachwork. The main differences between the above chassis and 10.B.5. are the Longer Bonnet, Upright Dashboard and Tension Shackle at rear. (1) The frame is the same as 10.B.5. except for the front crossmember. The position of the front crossmember is shown on PD.276, a blue print of which was given to you on 21.12.38. See also PB.4223 sent herewith. (2) Rear spring aft shackle is of the tension type. The rear crossmember is anchored underneath the frame. See PD.339 sent you herewith. (3) Radiator. The radiator and shell has been moved forwards. See PD.276 given to you 21.12.38.
