Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} [REDACTED] BY.9/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 27.6.34. What about it? c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RE: FORM OF THE HEAD OF THE GUDGEON PIN PLUG. HR.15.6.34. Referring to the attached memo Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}38/ the further point which arose out of the above piston seizure has been dealt with by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, as on examination we found that the Bentley gudgeon pin had a conical end, and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has issued a modified gudgeon pin to the Experimental Department following the Bentley form. Personally, I think that it is desirable to bring this particular feature on to production as soon as possible. We have issued the detail drawing to the Experimental Department. BY.{R.W.
