Tests on 1.R.1. have shown that this car is considerably over-cooled and we feel that a simpler type of fan would probably prove satisfactory. We should be glad therefore if you would arrange to produce drawings for a fan model on the Studebaker, that is simply with two twisted strips of metal fastened to a flange. We do not think that noise is going to be a problem on this car and our usual five staggered blades are not necessary. We are at present awaiting the factory costs of the Bentley V fan, and as soon as these become available we should like to have a talk about simplifying this design.
