to climb in future with mixture normal and full ignition as far as possible.

There is a distinct piston knock on this car which I thought they would report, but nothing was said about it.
I suggested to them to have alternative louvres taken out on the exhaust side of engine guards, and told them that the Engineers in England were working on this problem.

They said that old cars could take the same road without boiling, but theirs boiled to such a degree that compression was lost and the car came to a stand-still. This was also told to me by Mr. Reverdin in Geneva, having experienced the same trouble.

The hill was approximately 15 kilometers long - it was climbed full throttle in 3rd. speed at 45 to 50 kilometres per hour, the climb taking about 25 minutes. The shutters in the bonnet were all open.
