Description of Parts. SEQUENCE STARTER AUTOMATIC SWITCH WITH MODIFIED MAIN SWITCH TO LeC.2304 AND WITH TEAZER CARBON CONTACTS DELETED.
Origin. To prevent sparking at the main switch copper contacts and to simplify assembly of relay switch.
Experimental Test Report.
Bench tests with chronograph show that carbons now make way before coppers. retiming the operation of the switch so that the main copper contacts close before the teazer circuit is broken the necessity for teazer carbon contacts is obviated there being little or no current at the teazer contacts at break.
Test Report.
Used on 25-EX for 22,000 miles satisfactor-ily.
LeC.2804 also tried out on the switch on 27-EX for 7,000 miles OK.
